Charos has an extensive vocabulary. Both German and English contain more than 20,000 words between 3 and 8 letters.
These words include nouns, verbs, adjectives and adverbs, as well as selected numerals. We have omitted declension and conjugation. The standard vocabulary contains words of general usage.
Countries, cities, rivers, animals and plants as well as first names, foreign words and fantasy creatures can also be selected (see menu).

Diamonds are earned in the game by completing levels and finding additional words that are not included in the grid. These can be used to reveal individual letters. The following applies: 1 letter uses 1 diamond. The quota of diamonds applies across all levels and game categories.

Unlike the diamonds, the level counter varies depending on the level of difficulty in the standard edition (regardless of the selected expansions) and per entry in the special edition.
